2024 FSS International Conference: Shaping the Future with Green Finance

The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) hosted the “2024 FSS International Conference” on August 27 at the ECC Samsung Hall of Ewha Womans University, under the theme “Changing the World with Green Finance.” Since 2019, the FSS and Ewha Womans University have co-hosted this international conference as part of an industry-academic collaboration program, focusing on future finance and green finance.

The event was divided into two parts: the first session was the International Conference, and the second session featured a Youth Job Fair and AI Challenge. The conference commenced with opening remarks by FSS Governor Lee Bok-hyun and a welcome address by Ewha Womans University President Kim Eun-mi. This was followed by congratulatory speeches from Yoon Han-hong, Head of the National Assembly’s Policy Committee, Kim Sang-hyup, Chairperson of the Presidential Commission on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth, and ambassadors from various European countries. The event saw the participation of numerous financial authorities, companies, and research institutions, including 15 domestic financial firms. ECCK Chairman Philippe Van Hoof was also in attendance, celebrating the successful event and engaging in discussions with other key participants.
