[Baker Hughes Korea] Susan Ji Appointed as New Country Leader
SEOUL – May 11, 2021 – Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company, announced on May 11 that Susan Ji, the APAC marketing director, has been appointed as the new country leader for Baker Hughes Korea.
Graduated from MIT with a B.S. in mechanical engineering degree and from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA, Susan Ji is an energy expert, with 17 years of experience across engineering, marketing, and business development in the industry.
She started her career as an engineer in Boeing in 2004 and worked as a consultant at Bain & Company. She joined GE through the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) in 2010 and has been leading marketing for GE Oil & Gas in the Asia Pacific region. She has led marketing for Baker Hughes in the Asia Pacific region since 2017.
Susan will be in charge of developing the business strategy and leading the overall business in Korea and will focus on exploring partnerships related to the energy transition, including hydrogen production infrastructure and carbon capture technology.
