The forum will feature Hong Il-pyo, Director of the Society and Culture Research Office at the National Assembly Research Service (NARS), sharing key insights into the legislative and policy outlook for 2025. NARS, known as the National Assembly’s premier think tank, provides comprehensive research and analysis to support legislative and policy activities. Its expertise plays a pivotal role in shaping Korea’s key legislative processes.
Under Director Hong’s leadership, the Society and Culture Research Office focuses on critical areas such as environment and labor, education and culture, science and broadcasting, and health and welfare. Recent research highlights include topics such as AI digital textbooks, artificial intelligence, deepfake technology, network cost-sharing, telemedicine, bio-health industries, and comprehensive national health insurance plans.
