[CODIT] National Assembly Co-Hosts Roundtable on Transparency and Accountability under the AI Basic Act
On Tuesday, 6 January 2026, CODIT, in cooperation with the Office of National Assembly Member Hwang Jung-ah of the Democratic Party of Korea, will host the “Roundtable on Transparency and Accountability under the AI Basic Act.”
As public consultation on the draft Enforcement Decree of the AI Basic Act is currently under way, the roundtable will bring together representatives from industry, academia and government to discuss key issues ahead of the Act’s full implementation. Discussions will focus in particular on criteria for high-impact AI systems and labelling obligations for generative AI.
