COVID-19 Update (April 29, 2022)
From May 2, 2022, the South Korean governent will no longer enforce a mask mandate outdoors. When outside, an individual is to decide whether to wear a mask or not depending on his/her will and circumstance.
However, please note that when attending gatherings, events, performances, or sports games with 50+ attendees, one must wear a mask.
Even with the government’s decision to lift the mask mandate outdoors, it is still strongly recommended to wear a mask if one has COVID-19 symptoms, is in a high-risk group, or if it is difficult to maintain a distance of more than 1m in a large crowd.
*Please also note that wearing a mask will still be required indoors.
