COVID-19 Update (January 18, 2022)
Update on Implementation of Vaccine Pass Program
Effective January 18, 2022, the Korean government has announced its plan to suspend implementation of Vaccine Pass Program at 6 multiuse facilities such as clam schools, cinemas, museums, libraries, department stores, and retail shops across the nation. This measure is to be taken effect in response to the decision of the Seoul Administrative Court to suspend the program to avoid confusion among public.
However, when entering cafes, indoor-gyms, restaurants, karaoke, PC rooms, bars, nightclubs, sports facilities, in-door party rooms, etc. individuals would still need to submit a Vaccine Pass.
As of January 17, 2022, with the slightly eased gathering restrictions, private gathering of group of up to 6 people is possible. Even with this curfew on restaurants, in-door sports facilities, karaoke, entertainment facilities, cafes will remain till 9.p.m. and 10.p.m. on clam rooms, pc rooms, etc.
