Donation Opportunity to Help Revive Itaewon Neighborhood
The ECCK send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims of the tragedy that happened in Itaewon last October.
Foreign residents, including expats, have been emotionally attached to Itaewon in diverse ways as it is somewhat an emotional home or a place to enjoy their culture, food and life, and we are deeply saddened and shocked by the tragic incident. The ECCK and its members pray for the quick recovery of the district as we have been the beneficiaries of the diversity and inclusion that Itaewon has consistently offered.
With that said, as the ECCK would like to contribute to society and take societal responsibility, we have raised donations from raffle ticket sales from ECCK’s 10th anniversary gala event.
The ECCK decided to donate the collected money to the Red Cross, a center designated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government for disaster psychological counseling and emergency relief material support.
Some of our member companies showed their willingness to support the district and contacted us for the inquiries, so we would like to recruit members who wish to participate in this donation act and donate together.
Below is the detailed information about our donation initiative.
