A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
[EBOWN] Webinar: Reciprocal Tariffs and Trade shifts: Understanding the Impact on the Asia-Pacific Region
President Trump’s proposed tariffs—a 10% baseline on all imports plus steep, country-specific levies—have escalated global trade tensions. Southeast Asia is hit hardest, with Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar facing tariffs up to 49%. India, Japan, and the EU also face significant rates. China has responded with its own tariffs and regulatory actions, increasing market volatility.
This session will explore:
The macroeconomic rationale behind the US strategy
Impacts on Southeast Asian economies, global investors, and European businesses
China’s response and potential shifts in global trade
Implications for currency, inflation, interest rates, and capital flows
Risk management and investment strategy adjustments
Join us for timely insights into how these developments may reshape global markets.
