ECCK at the Global Women Summit 2026
The Global Women Summit 2026, jointly organised by the Korea Chapter of the International Women’s Forum and the Embassy of Ireland to the Republic of Korea, was held on 3 February at Jeongdong 1928 Art Centre in Seoul. The event brought together more than 120 women leaders and experts from Korea and abroad to exchange views under the theme “Advancing Women’s Empowerment in Corporate Leadership.”
European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK) President Stefan Ernst participated in the roundtable panel alongside Michelle Winthrop, Ambassador of Ireland to the Republic of Korea, Liz (Kyo-Hwa) Chung, formerly Senior Director, Legal at Netflix (Korea General Counsel), Min-Ju Ji, Director of Human Resources & Corporate Affairs at Pernod Ricard Korea, and Isabel Puig Palerm. CEO & CSO of IKEA Korea.
During the discussion, he highlighted examples and lessons emerging from ECCK’s Women Leadership Information Centre and its Family Friendly Future Forum (FFFF) initiative, underscoring the role of inclusive leadership, workplace flexibility, and corporate culture in strengthening women’s participation in senior decision-making.
His contribution reflected ECCK’s continued commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and sustainable leadership across the business community in Korea, while encouraging constructive dialogue with policymakers and civil society on advancing women’s leadership in the corporate sector.
