ECCK Breakfast Meeting with Environment Minister Han Wha-jin
On September 26, 2023, the ECCK held a breakfast meeting with Minister Han Wha-jin, Ministry of Environment (ME) at Grand Hyatt Seoul with representatives from ECCK members in attendance.
The meeting was held to provide an opportunity for ECCK members to discuss environment-related issues and make suggestions to the ME. Additionally, during the meeting, Minister Han provided her insights on the direction of Korea’s environment policy.
In his opening remarks, ECCK Chairperson Philippe Van Hoof showed appreciation to the ME for the Minister’s efforts to make a sustainable future by achieving carbon neutrality, and assured that the ECCK would further strive to continue the fruitful relationship with the ME to contribute to the betterment of the business environment of Korea. H.E. Maria Castillo-Fernandez, Ambassador of the European Union to Republic of Korea also attended supporting committment of the Korean government’s environment related policy and plans.
