A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
ECCK Busan Christmas Dinner 2025 Successfully Concluded in Busan
The ECCK Busan Chapter successfully hosted the ECCK Busan Christmas Dinner on December 11 at the Orchid Room of Westin Josun Busan, welcoming a full house of full house of approximately 120 guests. This year’s celebration brought together distinguished members, partners, and representatives from the European and Korean business communities for an evening of music, fellowship, and meaningful contribution.
A highlight of the evening was the congratulatory remarks delivered by H.E. the EU Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, whose presence underscored the strong ties and continued cooperation between Europe and the Busan region.
The programme featured exceptional performances by students from two international schools—International School of Busan (ISB) and Busan Foreign School (BFS)—whose choir presentations and video showcases added warmth and festive spirit to the celebration. Their participation was warmly received and contributed greatly to the unique character of this year’s dinner.
This year’s event was made possible through the generous support of our partners. In particular, we extend our sincere appreciation to our Signature Partner, Busan–Jinhae Free Economic Zone (BJFEZ), as well as ISB and BFS, and to our many Gift Sponsors, including Bosch Rexroth, Fairfield by Marriott Busan Songdo Beach, Lee Convention, NBA Korea, Park Hyatt Busan, Paradise Hotel Busan, PLAYUS, Skyline Luge, Synøve, Turnbräu, and Wyndham Grand Busan. Their contributions enriched the evening and enabled a wide range of raffle and game prizes for our guests. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of attendees and the generosity of our sponsors, all raffle tickets were sold out, with proceeds donated in full to the Heerak Foundation for Children, supporting their work for local youth in need.
As the evening concluded, ECCK President Stefan Ernst delivered closing remarks expressing gratitude for the continued passion, support, and engagement shown by the ECCK Busan community throughout the year. He conveyed sincere appreciation to all members, partners, and friends for their commitment, and shared warm wishes for the festive season and the new year ahead.
The ECCK looks forward to continuing its close cooperation with our members and partners through the Busan Chapter in 2026 and to building further meaningful connections within the European–Korean business community.
