ECCK Delegation Meets with Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City to Enhance Cooperation
On May 13, a delegation of ECCK including Chairperson Philippe Van Hoof and President Stefan Ernst had the privilege of meeting with Mr. Heong Joon Park, the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, at Busan City Hall.
During the meeting, Mayor Park underscored Busan’s commitment to elevating its city value and positioning itself as a global hub city. He highlighted initiatives such as the Triport system and outlined plans for expanding economic, welfare, and education policies to achieve this goal. Mayor Park expressed keen interest in fostering closer collaboration with ECCK through forums, seminars, and conferences to further promote Busan’s global hub city agenda. Additionally, he provided insights into the upcoming “2nd World Climate Industry EXPO,” scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6, 2024, at BEXCO in Busan, Korea.
