ECCK Energy & Environment x Marine Industry Committee successfully hosts Joint Seminar on Offshore Wind T&I
On October 21, 2025, the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea hosted the E&E x Marine Industry Committee Joint Seminar on Offshore Wind Transportation & Installation (T&I): Building Capabilities, Collaboration, and Policy Foundations at BEXCO, Busan.
During the seminar, the Korea Energy Agency (KEA) delivered congratulatory remarks, highlighting Korea’s strong commitment to the renewable energy transition and the importance of close cooperation between industry and government in achieving national energy goals. Presentations from Blue Power Partners, Boskalis, and DNV provided insights into the evolving T&I landscape and opportunities to strengthen collaboration across the offshore wind value chain. A panel discussion, moderated by the Korea Wind Energy Industry Association (KWEIA), followed the presentations and featured senior representatives from leading developers, EPCs, and classification societies who shared perspectives on current challenges and future opportunities in Korea’s offshore wind sector.
