ECCK–German Embassy Session on Responsible AI Adoption
On November 17, 2025, the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK) Digital Committee, in partnership with the German Embassy, hosted a session on responsible AI adoption at the Seoul Room, Seoul Square.Held as part of the German Innovation Days initiative, the event aimed to deepen corporate understanding of key considerations when integrating artificial intelligence into business operations.
The session underscored critical blind spots in current AI systems, including designer-introduced biases, limited social awareness, and embedded stereotypes. Speakers emphasized the growing importance of responsible AI practices to ensure fairness, reliability, and ethical use of AI in corporate environments.
Participants also explored practical strategies for mitigating AI bias—most notably the value of assembling diverse, multidisciplinary teams to review AI outputs, assess fairness, and implement corrective measures. Overall, the event equipped attendees with insights to better anticipate challenges and implement AI solutions more effectively and responsibly within their organization.
