A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
ECCK hosted a Webinar on Digital Empires
On the morning of the 24th, the ECCK hosted a live webinar on “Digital Empires” featuring Anu Bradford, the Henry L. Moses Professor of Law and International Organizations at Columbia Law School. She is also a Director for Columbia’s European Legal Studies Center and a Senior Scholar at the Jerome A. Chazen Institute for Global Business at Columbia Business School.
The ECCK organized this webinar to provide a deeper understanding of the ongoing rivalry between dominant world powers to expand their influence in the technological and regulatory aspects of the digital world. As people increasingly rely on digital technologies, concerns have grown about the rapid adoption and transformation of the digital landscape leading to a rise in desires to control the amount of influence tech giants have over our society. During this meeting, Anu Bradford discussed the rivalry between the United States, the People’s Republic of China, and the European Union that will shape the world in the decades to come and the participants also had the opportunity for a Q&A session following her presentation.
