A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
ECCK Hosts First CEO Forum of 2025 in Collaboration with EUD
On March 12, ECCK successfully hosted its first CEO Forum of 2025 at the Fairmont Hotel. The ECCK CEO Forum is an exclusive gathering open to premium members, providing a platform for top executives to engage in insightful discussions alongside invited guests.
For this session, we were honored to welcome H.E. María Castillo Fernández, Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea, and Jorg Weberndorfer, Minister Counsellor of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea. Over an engaging luncheon, they exchanged views with representatives from various industries on the topic: “Priorities for the New EU Leadership and Its Impact on EU-Korea Relations.” The discussion provided valuable insights into the evolving EU-Korea economic and political landscape, fostering deeper dialogue among business leaders. A key highlight of the discussion was the recent conclusion of negotiations for the EU-Korea Digital Trade Agreement (DTA). The agreement reflects a shared commitment to high-standard digital trade rules, ensuring trust, transparency, and innovation in the evolving digital economy.
ECCK will continue to host a series of high-level forums and exclusive events throughout the year, offering meaningful opportunities for our members to connect and exchange expertise. Stay tuned for more exciting gatherings ahead!
