ECCK HR & Compliance Forum : Building Inclusive Workforces Through DEI
On May 20, 2025, the ECCK hosted its first HR & Compliance Forum of the year under the theme “Building Inclusive Workforces Through Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I).” The forum provided a timely opportunity for HR and compliance professionals to explore how DEI is becoming a key driver of innovation, employee engagement, and sustainable business growth.
The session opened with remarks from Stefan Ernst, ECCK President, highlighting the growing importance of inclusive practices in today’s corporate landscape. Attendees then heard insights and real-world experiences from three distinguished HR leaders on how their organizations are approaching DE&I in practice.
Bommai Park, Head of HR at Boehringer Ingelheim Korea, Kendall Atcliffe, Director P&C APAC at Vestas Wind Systems A/S, and Kwiyong(Kay) Chung, HR Executive Director at AXA General Insurance, each shared their perspectives and best practices. The forum concluded with a presentation by Bryan Luro, Country Manager of Adecco Korea, who spoke on AI recruitment and DEI in the workforce.
Following the presentations, the speakers and attendees engaged in a lively discussion, exchanging insights and ideas. With over 60 professionals in attendance, the event offered practical takeaways and fresh perspectives to support more inclusive, future-ready workplaces.
