ECCK-HUFS Symposium: EU Korea – What the Future Will Bring
On July 1, the ECCK, together with the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies held an academic symposium on ‘EU Korea – What the Future Will Bring’, where participants discussed about the future of strategic relations between EU and Korea.
In 2023, the EU and Korea will celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations and with the new Yoon Seok-yeol administration, the importance of cooperation of the two parties is continuously growing.
Held in hybrid format, the event was attended by experts from related fields. Following the opening remarks by Si-hong Kim, professor at the Graduate School of International & Area Studies at HUFS and congratulatory remarks by H.E. Maria Castillo-Fernandez, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Korea, discussion sessions led by Christoph Heider, President of the ECCK, with the field experts were held.
