ECCK President Meetings at Jeolla Province
On the 4th week of March, ECCK President Christoph Heider paid a visit to Jeolla Province (Gwangju, Mokpo and Jeonju) to have meetings to discuss future collaboration with 4 different organizations.
President Heider with Kim Sang Mook, CEO of Kimdaejung Convention Center
Firstly, on Monday, March 20, President Heider visited Gwangju to meet with Kim Sang Mook, CEO of Kimdaejung Convention Center, to talk about the potential collaborative activities between the ECCK and the convention center such as for the international Council for Small Business’ World Congress.
President Heider then visited the Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority (GJFEZ) and had a meeting with Commissioner Kim Jinchul. During the meeting, they talked about ways the 2 organizations could work together to promote Gwangju as the destination of the Gwangju Future Car National Industrial Complex. Additionally, President Heider thanked Commissioner Kim for their support for the past years.

Later that day, President Heider paid a visit to Myongdo Welfare Center, which became ECCK’s new CSR Partner early this year. There, he met with Sister Gerardine, who oversees the center and helps the disabled neighbors with rehabilitation.
President Heider with Lee Ho Geun, Professor of Jeonbuk National University and Chairperson of the Korean Domestic Advisory Group
On March 21, President Heider travelled to Jeonju, where he met with Lee Ho Geun, Professor of Jeonbuk National University and Chairperson of the Korean Domestic Advisory Group. There, the two talked about the EU-KOR relationship and ways to further strengthen the ties between the two parties.
The ECCK is grateful to maintain a close relationship with Kimdaejung Convention Center, Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority, and the Korean Domestic Advisory Group. We appreciate the opportunity to meet with representatives of the organizations to discuss future collaborative ideas and look forward to continued and prosperous working relations.
