‘Global Startup Festival Daejeon 2019’
On May 22, ECCK President Christoph Heider spoke about the start-up scene and support programs in Europe at the Global Startup Festival Daejeon 2019. The 3-day conference was hosted by the Daejeon Metropolitan City in cooperation with The Korea Herald.
During his speech, President Heider emphasized that the government should support startups, part of SMEs and an important pillar of economies both in Europe and Korea, but it should come in the form of deregulation so that companies can focus on exploring businesses that are not “disrupted” by administrative tasks.
