A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
ECCK Signs MOU with 120 Dasan Call Foundation
On December 2, Stefan Ernst, President of the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), met with Lee Lee-jae, President of the 120 Dasan Call Foundation, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting the Foundation’s foreign-language services to ECCK member companies.
Launched in 2007, the 120 Dasan Call Service is a citizen support hotline that provides guidance and assistance on administrative matters related to the Seoul Metropolitan Government and its 25 district offices. The service is available not only in Korean but also in sign language, English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Russian. From 2026, the Foundation plans to expand the range of supported languages through AI-based solutions.
Through this MOU, the two organisations agreed to work together to raise awareness of the Foundation’s multilingual services among European businesspeople residing in Korea, and to promote the expanding scope of the hotline’s counselling—from day-to-day living information to guidance relevant to investment and business activities. This collaboration aims to support European companies in Korea by contributing to a more convenient, welcoming and business-friendly environment.
