A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
ECCK Successfully Hosts Information Sessions on Women in Leadership
On April 3, the ECCK successfully held one of its most popular information sessions, focusing on the topic of women in leadership. The session featured an esteemed panel comprising Dr. Ana-Maria Boie, MD, EMBA, General Manager of Boehringer Ingelheim Korea, ECCK Board Member, and Chair of the ECCK Healthcare Committee; Jina Lee, President and CEO of Bayer Korea Ltd; and Lucinda Walker, Chief Executive of the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea.
Moderated by ECCK President Stefan Ernst, the session explored a wide range of leadership-related topics. Through thoughtful questions, President Ernst guided an engaging discussion in which the panelists shared their leadership values and personal journeys—reflecting on experiences both past and present, in their home countries and abroad. Their insights offered invaluable perspectives on the role of women leaders in today’s dynamic global business environment. Originally scheduled for one hour, the session extended well beyond the allotted time due to the enthusiastic participation of the appx. 50 attendees. Following the panel discussion, participants continued their conversations over a light lunch buffet, fostering further networking and exchange.
We would like to express our special thanks to Boehringer Ingelheim Korea for kindly hosting the session and providing the venue. We extend our sincere gratitude to all panelists and participants for contributing to the success of this event. We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming ECCK Information Sessions.
