ECCK ‘Underage Drinking Prevention Campaign’ with CU(씨유)
In the morning of July 18, ‘RDA (Responsible Drinking Alliance)’ signed a MoU with BGF Retail, operator of Korea’s largest convenience store chain CU(씨유), at BGF Retail headquarter in Seoul.
RDA is an alliance formed by the ECCK and global alcoholic beverage manufacturers, to promote a responsible drinking culture in Korea.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the alliance including Christoph Heider (ECCK), Kil-Soo Cho (DIAGEO Korea), Joo Ho Kim (Edrington Korea), Kylie Wallbridge (Heineken Korea), as well as managing directors of BGF Retail.
Within the scope of this agreement, RDA and BGF Retail have decided to create and promote campaign contents and programs to prevent underage drinking, and to pursue employee training on prohibiting sale of alcoholic beverages to minors.
Through signing of the MoU, RDA with BGF Retail look forward to collaborating in underage drinking prevention campaign through 12,000 CU convenience stores across the country.
