ECCK’s Anti-Counterfeiting Campaigns at namsan walking festival
The ECCK and its IPR Committee members successfully participated in the Namsan Walking Festival held on November 2, 2024, hosted at the National Theater of Korea Cultural Plaza. This large-scale annual event, organized by Jung-gu Office, attracted over 1,500 participants, including Seoul citizens, international visitors, and representatives from various organizations.
As part of our Anti-Counterfeiting Campaign, the ECCK set up an engaging promotional booth to raise public awareness on the harm caused by counterfeit goods and the importance of intellectual property rights protection. Over 500 visitors took part in our interactive survey on counterfeit-related perceptions, experiences, and preventive measures. The responses will contribute to future educational and advocacy efforts.
Our activities included the “Find the Genuine” performance, featuring side-by-side displays of genuine and counterfeit products from renowned brands, and a “Luxury Authentication Corner,” where participants could learn about genuine product features and certifications. Additionally, we hosted a raffle and snack giveaway to further engage attendees and highlight the importance of healthy consumption.
This campaign served not only to educate the public but also to enhance the image of Jung-gu as a hub for responsible tourism and consumer practices. The ECCK, Jung-gu Office, and our member companies remain committed to promoting awareness and eliminating counterfeit goods.
