[ESCCK] Opportunity for Input: Upcoming Meeting with the Korea Fair Trade Commission

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Korea is delighted to inform you about an upcoming roundtable meeting being arranged by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) specifically for representatives of the Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Korea.
According to the invitation received, the KFTC, following the inauguration of Chairman Byungki Joo, is seeking to engage with stakeholders. The stated purpose of this meeting is “to share the KFTC’s policy directions on competition, hear your suggestions, and strengthen communication”. The meeting is planned for the first week of November. The Spanish Chamber of Commerce (ESCCK) will be attending this important session to represent the interests of Spanish businesses operating in Korea. To ensure your voice is heard and that they can effectively convey relevant concerns or suggestions to the KFTC, they would like to gather your input beforehand.
ESCCK invites you to share any specific issues, challenges, suggestions, or agenda items related to KFTC policies or competition law in Korea that you believe should be raised during this meeting.
This could include topics such as:
  • Experiences with current KFTC regulations.
  • Suggestions for improving clarity or efficiency in competition policy.
  • Areas where communication between foreign businesses and the KFTC could be strengthened.
  • Specific concerns relevant to your industry sector.
