The French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), in partnership with the French Embassy in Korea and the UN Women Knowledge and Partnerships Centre, would like to invite you to the Conference on Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment. Aimed from promotion of gender equality in public and private policies to supporting women’s empowerment beyond the workplace, the focus of the conference will follow the key questions of:
What core principles and priority actions are needed to empower women in the private sector, based on global standards and best practices?
How can businesses be equipped to prevent the reinforcement of gender stereotypes and unhealthy workplace cultures?
How can companies support work-life balance and promote sustainable family care for employees? What are the most effective practices, lessons learned, and strategies for overcoming remaining challenges?
How can organizations create safe, healthy environments for both men and women—while avoiding backlash or “witch hunts” against gender equality advocates, particularly among younger men?
What values do business leaders represent in the South Korean context, and how can they influence the national conversation on gender?
