After completing a doctoral degree in international relations specialising in international economics and politics, Luca embarked on a successful banking career as, economist and chief economist in central banks and investment banks. His career spanned various global financial hubs, including Milan, London, New York, Paris and Hong Kong.
After fifteen years in banking, Luca redirected his expertise to the real sector. In Berlin, he took on the role of establishing and overseeing an economics and geopolitics strategic research department for GEODIS. By meticulously analyzing the business environment, encompassing finance, economics, geopolitics, and risk factors, the unit played a pivotal role in optimizing management decisions of GEODIS and its clients. Recognizing the shifting landscape of globalization, Luca has lately embraced the challenge of aiding GEODIS clients in their supply chain re-design and strategic planning endeavors.
