ECCK also shared recommendations on ways to support European companies operating in Korea.
In his remarks, Chairperson Psillakis said, “We must understand that this crisis is also our window of opportunity. Now is the time for Korea, after becoming an exemplary case in handling the COVID-19 pandemic and after the major win of the parliamentary elections, to show Korea’s leadership and determination and speed up the necessary reforms in the economy, create more prosperous business opportunities and lead at the time of industry 4.0. We must do more than merely troubleshoot the issues from the last several months, but also advance a proactive effort to help shape the form that post-corona era may take. We are certain that ECCK members can offer suggestions from our best practices and experiences in Europe, where industrial 4.0 and SMEs are the backbone of Europe’s economy.”
