The United States Presidential election was held on November 3. In light of the interconnectivity of world markets, the outcome of this election will have implications around the world. On November 11, one week after the election, ECCK organized a seminar to explain the results and have expert speakers assess the possible impact on Korea. In order to set the stage for our remarkable panel, Mr. James Fatheree, Executive Director of GR Korea, analyzed the election results as well as other pertinent developments since the election. A panel consisting of NA member Youn Kun Young of the Democratic Party, NA member Kim Byung Wook of the People’s Power Party and Dr. Yoon Yeo-joon, Head of the Europe and Americas Team at the Korean Institute for International Economic Policy, and led by Dr. Jiyoon Kim addressed the impact on trade in the Korean economy, cooperation with the Asia region as well as the Korean Green Deal. We would like to thank all distinguished speakers for their insights and GR Korea for supporting this event.
