The ECCK on June 14, launched its Sustainability Committee – the number 21 of the ECCK Advocacy Committees.
Sustainability has become more and more of an impactful activity area and the newly launched ECCK Sustainability Committee aims to work towards helping and supporting here in various ways. Beside sharing sessions, the ECCK also plans to organize closed-door sessions with European and Korean policy makers. Furthermore, the committee will contribute to the ECCK’s White Paper and soon launch a Sustainability Award.
In the first sharing session, Dr James Hooper shared his insights on “Better climate neutral future, emission reduction and climate risk assessment”. The Sustainability Committee Meeting was opened by the Committee Chairperson Philippe Van Hoof (Country Manager at ING Korea) and participated by representatives from AXA, EY, Greehill (Singapore), ING, Merck, Societe General and Swiss Re.
