Presidential Candidate Moon Jae In Discusses Economic Cooperation with ECCK Chairman

On the morning of April 12, Korea’s presidential candidate of the liberal Democratic Party Moon Jae In hosted a meeting ‘Korea’s Economic Risks Overseas with Foreign Business Associations in Korea’. The meeting was attended by the ECCK Chairman Dimitris Psillakis and AMCHAM Chairman James Kim to have a candid discussion on perceived or actual obstacles to foreign investment and business operation in Korea. In his speech, Mr Psillakis expressed his gratitude for the wonderful opportunity to discuss what can be done to further strengthen economic cooperation between Europe and Korea, and to further improve the economic environment in Korea for both Korean and European companies. Subsequently, Chairman Psillakis stressed that especially in times like these, Korea should expand business opportunities and technology exchange with Europe and grasp chance to further grow, not just within the frames of the FTA, but beyond it.
