Dear Sir/Madam, You are cordially invited to Get to Know Korea 2018: Experience the DMZ, an event held by Invest KOREA in which valued members of Korea’s foreign business community and their families can indulge in the rich history and culture of Korea. At this event, participants will visit the DMZ (demilitarized zone), where the two Koreas are divided – at a time when the prospects of peace on the Korean peninsula is garnering much attention. The visit will consist of the Third Underground Tunnel, built by the North; the Dora Observatory, North Korea’s Gaeseong can be observed; and the Bridge of Freedom at Imjingak. By visiting areas demonstrating the history of the division between the two Koreas, participants will be reminded of the value of peace as well as hope for reunification.
