In response to the anticipated tariff policies of the new U.S. administration, KOTRA has launched several support programmes to assist Korean exporters. The following initiatives are currently available:
KOTRA operates a one-stop consultation service via online, phone, and KakaoTalk channels. Businesses can receive guidance on tariff rates, overseas investments, alternative market opportunities, and relevant institutional support. Tariff Response Export Voucher Programme
From April 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026, KOTRA will support SMEs and mid-sized companies facing export challenges due to trade barriers. Participating companies must use at least 50% of their total issued voucher amount in the Tariff Response Package service category.

Emergency Industry-Specific Briefings on U.S. Tariff Measures
Since February, KOTRA has been hosting a series of 12 nationwide briefings offering updates on trade issues, alternative markets, response initiatives, and 1:1 export consultations. Target industries include: Steel & Aluminium, Automotive Parts, Semiconductors, Power Equipment, Bio, Energy Infrastructure, and Shipbuilding Equipment.
