Luncheon Meeting with Foreign Investment Ombudsman Kim Doo-Sik
On December 1, as part of his regular consultations with Foreign Investment Ombudsman Kim Doo-Sik, ECCK Chairperson Philippe van Hoof had a lunch meeting with the Ombudsman. Chairperson Philippe debriefed on the ECCK Delegation’s mission to Europe and the Roundtable Meeting with Trade Minister Yeo Han-Koo on November 27.
They exchanged views on key trade matters, including developments related to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation between Europe and Korea. The discussion also built on the positive momentum of ECCK’s recent engagements with both European and Korean authorities. Both sides agreed to maintain regular communication going forward.
