Are you a K-Food lover looking for a new and unique dining experience? If so, ‘MISHMASH’, a contemporary fusion Korean restaurant, which the ECCK will be introducing today is a great place to visit.
Located near Angook station, right next to Changdeokgung Palace, MISHMASH is a beautiful two-story Hanok, traditional Korean house, restaurant where you can enjoy not only the unique food course but the traditional culture of Korea.

The modern exterior of a Hanok catches the eye first, and when you go up to the second floor, the beautiful scenery of Changdeokgung Palace through a large window is awe-inspiring. This view alone makes you feel satiated, but there is another main course.

What makes this place special among many Korean fusion restaurants is that owner-chef Minzi Kim Wind reinterprets traditional Korean food with a different perspective and introduces new flavors with a meaningful and novel menu in line with modern times.
Having built her foundations from Ecole Ferrandi in France, the internationally-recognized school of culinary arts, she also has experience working at several Michelin restaurants in Denmark, France, and Spain.
She presents multinational dishes based on Korean cuisine and incorporates the special characteristics of the world’s most gourmet countries in MISHMASH’s Korean dishes, which adds to the joy of eating.

The interior is a two-story traditional hanok built on the site of residence Geum-gun, who guarded the king of the Joseon Dynasty, with the ‘hygge’ culture experience of Denmark. MISHMASH is cozy in a quiet and antique atmosphere, and the beautiful Changdeokgung Palace from the second floor is picturesque.

The small annex located at the back is prepared for private gatherings and can be enjoyed through reservations. A small wedding is possible because MISHMASH has its own wedding team and is also popular as a venue for corporate events and gatherings.
