Robert Walters Korea Awarded 2023 Happy Plus CSR Awards in Contribution to Job Creation Category for the Fourth Consecutive Year
On February 24, specialist professional recruitment firm Robert Walters Korea received the 2023 Happy Plus CSR Awards in Contribution to Job Creation Grand Prize for the fourth consecutive year. The award is co-organised by the Korea Enterprises Federation and the Association of Korean Journalists and is sponsored by the Ministry of Economy & Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, Ministry of Health & Welfare, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Employment & Labour, and the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family.
The award recognises Robert Walters Korea’s permanent dedication to creating jobs and leading innovative and sustainable CSR activities with the commitment to operate the business in a socially responsible way.
Robert Walters Group has continued investing in various environmental and humanitarian initiatives worldwide. Since 2017, the Group has partnered with the Global Angels Foundation to support Global Angels’ projects in Tsavo, Kenya. Along with ‘Walks to Kenya,’ a fundraising activity accumulating 6,341 miles through walking, running, and swimming for the Foundation’s clean water project, the Group sends eight volunteers from all over the world each year to help build infrastructure for clean drinking water and proper nutrition. The annual Global Charity Day is another CSR initiative through which all employees across the Group participate in fundraising activities to donate funds to chosen charities in local communities. In 2022, Robert Walters Korea donated the funds raised to Doctors Without Borders to contribute to medical support efforts and to the Veterans Occupation Development Association to support the re-employment of young veterans. As part of its effort to rejuvenate the labour market in the post-pandemic era, Robert Walters Korea also participated in the 2022 Veterans Career Fair to assist young talents returning to society after serving the country in the armed forces by providing career advice and the latest trends in the job market.
