Signboard Ceremony for the Public-Private Joint Regulatory Rationalisation Committee
On April 30, ECCK Chairperson Philippe van Hoof attended the signboard ceremony of the Public-Private Joint Regulatory Rationalisation Committee, held at Booyoung Taepyeong Building in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The Committee, chaired by President Lee Jae Myung, has launched a new framework aimed at addressing regulatory challenges experienced by businesses and the public. Through close public-private cooperation—bringing together major economic associations, research institutes, private companies, and relevant government ministries—the initiative seeks to resolve regulatory grievances in a more effective and practical manner. Prime Minister Kim Minseok also attended the event and delivered congratulatory remarks.
Following the ceremony, Chairperson van Hoof attended an MOU signing between the Office for Government Policy Coordination (OPC) and the Foreign Investment Ombudsman. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in improving the regulatory environment and addressing challenges faced by foreign-invested companies in Korea.
