The 3rd Korea-Norway Greenship Seminar 2017
The 3rd Korea-Norway Greenship Seminar 2017 took place on November 16 at Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center. As part of the Busan International Port Conference 2017, the seminar was co-organized by the ECCK, Innovation Norway, and the Norwegian Embassy in Korea.
The Greenship Seminar inaugurated with opening remarks by the day’s moderator Jeom-Kee Paik (Professor at Busan National University), which was followed by welcome remarks from Elin Sagbråten (Commercial Counsellor at Royal Norwegian Embassy). Then the keynote speeches were delivered respectively by 8 industry experts under the title of Development and Future Outlook for Innovative and Sustainable Green Shipping. Subsequently, a panel discussion and a networking dinner were provided for the participants to openly discuss on the day’s topics and to expand their business network with the industry professionals.
The ECCK would like to thank the speakers and all the participants for being part of the seminar, including the special supporters from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, Jotun, Kongsberg, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics ASA, DNV GL, and Busan Port Authority.
