A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
Unseen Korea: Interview Series with ECCK’s CSR Partners | Trailer
“Korea is a vibrant and successful nation. Its high-tech industry and shining K-Pop culture have conquered the world. But we have come to forget that this success does not mean the absence of poverty. Korea still has the 4th highest relative poverty rate among all OECD nations. There are people with no place to stay, children without parents who care for them, foreign laborers living in the shadows of society and people with no access to sufficient healthcare. Let us shine a light on these often-forgotten sides of Korea and find out what we can do to help.”
The ECCK is to launch a series of CSR interviews under the title of Unseen Korea: Searching for hope beneath the surface of success to share stories of those who are in need around us, in association with its 7 CSR partners (Shinmyung Orphanage, Anna House, Jeon Jin Sang Clinic, House of Bethania, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Ronald McDonalds House Charity Korea (RMHC Korea), and Concern Worldwide Korea).
In line with this, starting May 12, 2022, the ECCK promises to donate 100,000 KRW for every new member joining the chamber to our CSR Partners.
Last but not least, a huge thank you to Korea Consult, producer of our interview videos including the trailer below, and Fairmont Ambassador Seoul for venue support.
Below video is the trailer, a general overview of our upcoming videos!
