CBRE Korea Extends Commitment to Local Community
On November 16, CBRE Korea, a global commercial real estate services company, extended its commitment to the local community by holding its annual “Walk for a Wish” charity event in Seoul. Aside from participating in the walk which took them around Gyeongbok Palace, the local team volunteered time and resources to make kimchi out of 500 heads of cabbage for the elderly community at the Seoul Senior Welfare Center. They also made a donation of about 5 million won to the center.
Launched in Asia pacific, in 2010, CBRE’s annual “Walk for a Wish” is part of a wider “Wellness Week” initiative in which the company promotes wellbeing of mind, body and environment through a series of internal activities. Walk for a Wish involved employees, clients and other stakeholders from over 22 countries in the region including Australia, China, Japan and Hong Kong and has raised over US $1.8 million to date.
