ECCK Attends Dialogue with Foreign Investors in Materials & Components Industry
On September 26, ECCK Chairperson Dimitris Psillakis attended the ‘Dialogue with Foreign Investors in Materials & Components Industry’ at Grand Hyatt Seoul.
Attended by Minister for Trade Yoo Myung-hee from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), Foreign Investment Ombudsman Kim Sung-jin, and representatives from foreign chambers in Korea as well as major foreign-invest companies in materials & components industry, the meeting was held to update and share the current issues in trade and industries.
During the meeting, Chairperson Dimitris Psillakis emphasized that international standards should be applied on every level and for all industries. He said, “With the application of international standards, Korea will provide a conducive environment to encourage the inflow of foreign capital and technology, as well as further strengthen the competitiveness of Korea’s industries in global market.”
