ECCK Busan Chapter Delivers Donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities
On December 6, the ECCK Busan Chapter delivered donations to Korea’s first Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) located at Busan University Medical Center in Yangsan, South Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
The funds were raised during the ‘ECCK Busan Year-End Party’, which was held on December 5. The donation was delivered by ECCK President Christoph Heider to Executive Director of RMHC Ms. Kyung Me Boo and attended by Busan Chapter of the ECCK.
About Ronald Macdonald House Charities:
The construction of the first RMCH house in Korea was finished in the second half year 2019. They focus on providing what children need the most during the treatment: a home environment providing support and resources that help keep families together, a place for families to rest and regroup next to the hospital, access to health care where children need it the most.
RMHC Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. RMHC House believe that when a child is hospitalized the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed.
