Ban Ki-moon Centre for Sustainable Development Appreciation Award
On May 31, ECCK received an appreciation award from Ban Ki-moon Centre for Sustainable Development for ECCK’s participation and support as a strategic partner in the ‘2019 Global Engagement & Empowerment Forum on Sustainable Development (GEEF)’ hosted by the Centre last February.
The GEEF is an annual international event co-organized by the Ban Ki-moon Centre and the Institute for Global Engagement & Empowerment (IGEE) at Yonsei University, where global leaders and experts convene to collaborate towards accomplishing the United Nation’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. For 2019’s forum, ECCK brought together a group of its member companies, closely aligned with the forum’s commitment on sustainable development, to engage in GEEF as supporting organizations.
The Chamber would like to thank Ban Ki-moon Centre for this recognition and looks forward to another successful organization of GEEF in 2020 and further cooperation between the two organizations in the future.
