A leading driver and strong advocate for European Businesses in Korea
ECCK Tax Forum: How to Manage Transfer Pricing Risk in Korea Successfully Hosted
On the morning of May 25, the ECCK successfully hosted a tax forum under the title “How to Manage Transfer Pricing Risk in Korea” at Conrad Seoul Hotel.
The session was led by Ms. HannaYi, TP specialist at Shin & Kim LLC and Ms. Jung Moon Jang, TP specialist at Shin & Kim LLC. With adjustment on transfer pricing becoming more frequent during tax audit, the two experts from Shin & Kim LLC addressed ways to handle TP risk in Korea by introducing TP compliance, how to manage TP effectively, and recent trends in TP audits.
We would like to thank Shin & Kim LLC and the two speakers for the informative session. Additionally, we thank all the participants for their interest in the ECCK Tax Forum, which is a cross-industry forum consisted of all tax related professionals and C-levels of industry member companies.
Lastly, the ECCK annually produces and delivers the White Paper (p.135 for Tax Committee) to Korean government. It is a key publication consisting of key recommendations regarding European companies’ business and Korea’s regulatory environment. The ECCK Tax Committee has also annually handed the recommendations to MOEF and received feedback as well as participated in tax reform proposal meetings by MOEF and KOTRA to share opinions.
Currently, we are in the process of collecting the issues for this year. If you have any recommendations to submit to this year’s White Paper on Taxation, please contact ECCK Tax Committee manager Siyoon Kim (siyoon.kim@ecck.or.kr).
