Specialist professional recruitment firm Robert Walters Korea held an HR seminar at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul on 21 June, in collaboration with The Dream Collective, featuring a panel discussion with four market leaders on the topic “Building Inclusive Culture to Retain Top Talent.
Sarah Liu, Founder and Managing Director of Australian-based diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) consultancy The Dream Collective led the conversation for the panelists: Paul S. Lee, Formal General Manager of Gilead Sciences Korea; Kumjoo Huh, Korea Representative of G20 Empower Alliance; Jung Hyun Kwon, TM Category Leader for Japan and Korea OU at Coca-Cola and Eunju Kim, Head of People & Culture at Sanofi Korea.
The seminar discussed practical strategies for creating inclusive workplaces by implementing DE&I initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
With more than 50+ executives and HR business leaders participating working in the South Korean market, the seminar enabled attendees the opportunity to network and learn best practices from influential leaders across different industries. The panel discussion covered current trends and insights of the talent landscape in South Korea, how fostering inclusion supports talent retention, practical tips for embedding DE&I initiatives in the people & culture strategy of organisations. The seminar was held as part of Robert Walters Korea’s regular HR seminar series and will continue with another event later in the year.
